Hurricane Season Starts Today

June 1st marks the beginning of hurricane season.  To those of us in the Gulf Coast region, we are inundated with ads on our local tv stations to “get our free hurricane tracking charts”.

With the conversion to digital tv transmission only eleven days away, business owners should ensure they have a radio and a television ready to receive the new digital signal.  Business owners should also have copies of their insurance policies handy complete with contact information for their insurance brokers and carriers.  This information is much more difficult to locate in the dark.

Good advice for any company located in the Gulf Coast region. Every year thousands of businesses are impacted by hurricanes. Having the information you need to file claims quickly will greatly reduce the amount of time for you to recover and the headaches as well.
